My life was changed today.
For all my bigger friends that watch the girls walk by with stupid thin legs, sporting *INCREDIBLY* cute knee high boots, I have INCREDIBLE news for you!
I kept seeing these ads for “cute fall boots” through an online shopping company called JustFab. You’ve probably seen them too. First pair of boots only $10 for new vip members! I was skeptical but after reading (seriously, word for word, thorough reading) through the terms and conditions, I decided to give it a shot.
I got a cute pair of mid calf (prayed they would fit) cowboy boots. And they fit! And I got so many compliments on them!
But then…. oh man… then. Then they started advertising WIDE CALF KNEE HIGH BOOTS.
After a couple of months of not telling them to charge my credit card $40, I decided to go look at these mythical wide calf boots… and realized that three months of $40 ‘subscription fees’ were actually $120 worth of product. For real. Just chilling there, waiting for me to choose something.
You guys. I’m pretty sure I spent the next two weeks agonizing over which boots I wanted. Did I want any clothes to go with them? What about accessories? Scarves, purses? I was torn.
I finally settled. A really cute grey bag that I will probably accrue a stupid amount of receipts in every week. A ridiculously cute pair of snow boots because I think my Target clearance deal has been through the ringer the last 3 winters.
And knee high boots. With buckles. And fake fur on the top. Wide calf.
And. They. Fit.
I’m not crazy you guys. Even at my best, size 10, running 2 miles a day, 4 days a week, boots have NEVER come up over my calves.
*NEVER* (just to be explicitly clear, NEVER)
The struggle WAS real. It’s done though. JustFab will go down in history as the first clothing company to make me giddy.
School girl freaking giddy.
I have boots that go over my knees.
Somebody pinch me.
